Madvac Inc. was founded in 1986. In 1988 it began production of the flagship model Madvac 101. Two international patents were subsequently granted: the patented power-assisted vacuum arm and the straight-through suction system. These breakthroughs, which revolutionized the concepts and methods of automated litter collection, have since set the pace for the industry in general. The Madvac 101 mobile vacuum litter system, and the model PS300 walk-behind sweeper, were both designed to be natural complements to traditional sweepers because they are able operate in formerly inaccessible areas.

Madvac Inc. (formerly C.B.C. Municipal Equipment Inc.) offers a complete line of walk-behind, pedestrian-friendly sweepers and patented litter collection systems designed to eliminate the disadvantages associated with manual litter collection. Manual collection, which is costly and often inefficient, has become outmoded. The Madvac vision is to promote the concept the litter collection, facilitate gains in employee productivity and create a positive image for your company and community.

The Madvac machines are compact vehicles that collect litter via a vacuum process. They significantly increase productivity and efficiency by eliminating the need for hand collection. Our vacuum litter collectors are designed to pick up glass, bottles, paper, cans and any other type of debris commonly found on sidewalks, in parks or on the street. Litter is picked up through a large hose controlled by the operator of the unit. Debris is collected in a throwaway or reusable bag.
